a porcelain factory established in 1872 at East Liverpool, Ohio, producing both useful and decorative wares but specializing in, and best known for, very fine Belleek porcelain. Its kilns were destroyed by fire in 1889 and subsequently it produced a translucent bone china marketed as "Lotus Ware," specimens of which were shown at the Columbian Exposition of 1893 in Chicago. The decorative products often had jewelled decoration.
